By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor MAMOU — It was a tale of two halves on Friday night for the Mamou Green Demons. An electric first-half performance from Mamou junior wide receiver had the Green Demons flying high. But, when the wheels came off, they came off in a big way.

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor Week 1 was a mixed bag for Evangeline Parish teams. With the weather wreaking havoc over every game in Evangeline Parish and most of the state, delays and cancellations took the lead of the storylines to open the 2022 season.
