EP reg. of voters is arrested in Avoyelles Parish

Evangeline Parish Registrar of Voters Ashton Lucas Buller was arrested in Avoyelles Parish, for charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and possession of schedule II CDS. Avoyelles Parish District Attorney Charles Riddle confirmed the arrest and the charges on Monday, October 14.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 632 again this year hosted the parish’s Memorial Day observance, at the Evangeline Parish Courthouse. Many local veterans, members of the community, and public officials were present for the event.

Healthworks Rehab, on Thursday, May 21, held preseason athletic physicals for high school athletes from Ville Platte, Mamou, Pine Prairie, and Sacred Heart. The physicals included screenings from optometrists, physical therapists, dentists, and physicians before final clearance.
