VPHS starts district with tough Iota challenge

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor VILLE PLATTE – There’s not much positive Ville Platte head coach Roy Serie can say after last week’s 38-0 loss to Oakdale that dropped the Bulldogs to 0-3 on the 2022 season. Oakdale dominated at the line scrimmage and limited the Bulldogs offensively.

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor PINE PRAIRIE – Pine Prairie is finding itself offensively. Unfortunately, the Panthers probably wish they’d had a bit more time before facing this district opponent. The Panthers open District 4-3A play on Friday with a stiff opponent, No. 4-ranked Church Point.
