Sonnier to headline festival on Saturday night

Dustin Sonnier is an American Country music singer/songwriter from the small community of Vatican. Dustin’s passion for music began at a young age. In early 2006, Dustin felt it was time to spread his wings and form his own band.

New Boggy Bayou royalty is crowned

Sacred Heart High presents the Passion

Sacred Heart students presented its annual Passion on Thursday, April 14, when the Church celebrated Holy Thursday in commemoration of the Lord’s Last Supper. The Passion at the school consisted of a walk in the gymnasium that traced Christ’s final steps on his way to Cavalry.

With the state legislature currently in session, Representative Rhonda Butler invited representatives from Evangeline Parish and St. Landry Parish to tour the state capitol in Baton Rouge and enjoy lunch.

Vidrine’s Small Town Nursery holds grand opening

The Grand Opening, along with a ribbon cutting, was held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, for Vidrine’s Small Town Nursery located at 1739 East Main Street in Ville Platte. It was a beautiful day for the special event, which brought a large crowd.
