Fatal shooting is reported in Ville Platte near corner of Jackson and Chataignier

By: TONY MARKS Editor Ville Platte Police Chief Al Perry Thomas confirmed a fatal shooting in the city that claimed the life of 28-year-old Andrew Thomas. The shooting occurred on the morning of Thursday, March 7, near the intersection of North Chataignier Street and East Jackson Street.

Head football coaches receive extra compensation

Aetna presents donation for playground equipment
