EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Casey Faul, 33, Ville Platte, was arrested March 8, 2024, by Probation and Parole for probation or parole violation. Faul remains incarcerated on no bond. • Cheryl Ann Soileau, 49, Opelousas, was arrested March 10, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for use or possess to use drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II CDS. Soileau was released on no bond. • Dakota Mitchell Comeaux, 26, Opelousas, was arrested March 10, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery. Comeaux remains incarcerated on no bond. • Matthew Sherman Deville, 38, Ville Platte, was arrested March 10, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation or parole violation. Deville remains incarcerated on no bond. • Tasha Porche, 39, Mamou, was arrested March 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Porche remains incarcerated on no bond. • Jordan Jamal Harris, 30, Ville Platte, was arrested March 12, 2024, by Probation and Parole for failure to give description of motor vehicle. Harris remains incarcerated on a $15,000.00 bond. • Dominique James Martel, 25, Eunice, was arrested March 12, 2024, by the Turkey Creek Police Department for flight from an officer - aggravated flight from an officer, driving under suspension, security required (no insurance), expired license plate, tail lamps, hit-and-run driving, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Martel remains incarcerated on an $81,650.00 bond.
