Verby Fontenot (left photo) was chosen as Resident of the Month for January at Heritage Manor, while Francesca Gallow (right photo) was chosen as Employee of the Month. Fontenot is the mother of six (two deceased) and has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

CCD students from St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou presented a live Nativity following the 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday, December 18. The event was hosted by the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Daughters of America, who served gumbo, hot chocolate, and other treats, and featured sheep and chickens.
