Mamou Elementary hosts Cornhole Tournament

Mamou Elementary was the site of the latest round of the Evangeline Parish School Districts Special Olympics in the parish as the campus hosted a Cornhole Tournament on Thursday, February 9. The following are the results from the competition: Elementary (Grades 4-5)- 1st place, Clifton Johnson, James Stephens Montessori; 2nd place, Royce Wagner, Pine Prairie High; 3rd place, Ka’layashia Cullivan, Ville Platte Elementary. Middle School (Grades 6-8)- 1st place, Kylan Naquin, Bayou Chicot Elementary; 2nd place, Lazyria Freeman, Vidrine Elementary; 3rd place, Christopher Louis, Basile High. High School- 1st place, Sakorien Celestine, Ville Platte High; 2nd place, Makenzy Girouard; 3rd place, Jordan Thompson, Mamou High.
