Re-Thunk Junk 60 + miles flea market trail set for Oct. 15, 16

KINDER - The Allen Parish Annual Re-Thunk Junk event, featuring a flea market trail through Reeves, Kinder, Oberlin, Oakdale and Elizabeth, with the addition of Highway 26 to Mittie this year, will be held Friday, October 15, and Saturday, October 16.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons: • Kervin T. Anthony, 25, New Iberia, was arrested on September 4, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for illegal possession of stolen firearms.
