Staff Report The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a Click It or Ticket detail in Evangeline Parish on Saturday, April 30. Deputies will be looking for seatbelt use, along with other violations to ensure the safety of the public.

Central Louisiana Community Foundation Grant helps get Mamou playgrounds ready for summer

Press Release On Friday, April 22, a group of town officials and volunteers worked together to freshen up the two town parks by spreading fresh mulch in preparation for the summer months. A huge thanks to everyone who made it possible to upgrade the two public playgrounds in Mamou.

Staff Report The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Unit, on Wednesday, April 20, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on St. Landry Highway. Agents made contact with the driver, and a brief roadside interview was conducted.
