MPD reports recent arrests

Christopher L Montelone, 48, of 121 Railroad ave Mamou, was arrested for Attempted Second degree Murder on June 9, 2023, after an earlier altercation with Dusty Bordelon over lawn equipment, escalated. Montelone used his vehicle as a weapon striking Dusty throwing him several feet into the air.

Recent arrests are reported

On May 20, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 Blk. of Cousins Rd. in reference to a damaged vehicle. Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect (Jullian Alfred W/F DOB 11/29/2000 of Ville Platte) keyed the victim’s vehicle. The total cost of the damages was valued at approximately $4,454.
