Recent arrests are reported

On May 20, 2023, Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 Blk. of Cousins Rd. in reference to a damaged vehicle.
Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect (Jullian Alfred W/F DOB 11/29/2000 of Ville Platte) keyed the
victim’s vehicle. The total cost of the damages was valued at approximately $4,454.45. On July 6, 2023, the
Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect.
She was subsequently arrested on July 10, 2023 for one count of Simple Criminal Damage to Property with a
bond set at $5000.00.

On April 21, 2023, Deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 3700 Blk. of LA.
Hwy 95 in reference to a four-wheeler theft. During the investigation, it was learned that the suspect (Jody
Lejeune W/M DOB 01/24/1991 of Eunice) attempted to sell the four-wheeler to one of the victim’s friends.
Once this was discovered, the four-wheeler was recovered and returned to the victim. On May 8, 2023,
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect. The suspect was subsequently arrested on June 13,
2023 for Illegal Possession of Stolen Things with a bond set at $25,000.00. He also has a hold with Probation
and Parole for violating his probation obligations.
