Alfred is arrested for accessory to second degree murder

On April 16, 2024, the United States Marshall’s Service contacted the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to apprehending a fugitive wanted for Accessory After the Fact to 2 nd Degree Murder and other probation violations.

On March 20, deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a burglary that occurred at the 5900 block of Vine Street, in Chataignier, where two Martin brand accordions were stolen.
