Guatemalan national escapes from custody in Pine Prairie

A civil detainee, identified as Santiago Manuel Gasper (DOB: June 23, 2004), a national of Guatemala, escaped from the ICE Facility in Pine Prairie, on July 31, at approximately 4:09 p.m., according to a press release from the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Escaped Civil Detainee from ICE Facility, Pine Prairie

A civil detainee, Santiago Manuel Gasper (DOB: 06/23/2004), a national of Guatemala, escaped from the ICE Facility in Pine Prairie, Louisiana on July 31, 2026 at approximately 1609 hours. The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office was notified of the escape at approximately 12:00 AM (midnight).
