Jobless rates rise, workforce grows

Tri-Parish unemployment rates rose in October while the workforce increased by 233 people, according to a Louisiana Workforce Commission report released Wednesday. The workforce count, which includes those employed and seeking a job, totaled 67,571 for the Tri-Parish area, up 233 people or 0.
