NEW YORK — New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill, Los Angeles Rams safety Kamren Kinchens, and Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Karl Brooks are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for Week 11 (November 14, 17-18).

By: TONY MARKS Editor PRAIRIE RONDE - Teams from both high schools in the City of Ville Platte competed in the CASA Basketball Jamboree on Saturday, November 16. The Sacred Heart Lady Trojans knocked the dust off their boots and picked up a come-from-behind win over Beau Chene.

Ashton Bias, of Ville Platte High School, was presented with his T-shirt for being named Player of the Week in Week 10. During a 55-28 loss to Church Point to close out the football season, the Ville Platte quarterback threw three touchdown passes.

SH closes out regular season as 20th seed

By: TONY MARKS Editor A 42-0 win over Berchmans Academy, at Clark Field, in Lafayette, gave the Sacred Heart Trojans a 6-4 record on the season and a 2-4 record in district play. The overall record was a 3-game improvement from last year’s mark under first-year head coach Jacob Aguillard.
