The Ville Platte High Lady Bulldogs and Pine Prairie Lady Panthers began district play with a game against each other on Monday, January 27.
The visitors from Ville Platte got the better end of the deal with a 67-26 win.
Yazmin Ardoin led Ville Platte with 15 points. Britelah Freeman added 12 points, and Janiah Leday added 10 points.
