Medical professionals from across the community came together on Thursday, May 22, as Healthworks Rehab LLC, in Ville Platte, again hosted the high school athletic physicals for Ville Platte, Mamou, Pine Prairie, and Sacred Heart.

By: RAYMOND PARTSCH III LSN Sports Reporter LAKE CHARLES – The McNeese men's basketball team is starting to come together. Cowboys head coach Bill Armstrong has announced the signing of Tulsa guard Tyshawn Archie.

By: TONY MARKS Editor PINE PRAIRIE - With only 300 soldiers, the ancient Spartan army withstood an assault from the Persian army led by King Xerxes at the Battle of Thermopylae. Kynnedi Ware, a freshman pitcher on the Pine Prairie softball team, also found success with a similar number.
