By: TONY MARKS Editor The Bayou Chicot Elementary softball team has a knack for big moments. That streak continued again this year as the team won the Top Tier Junior High State Championship, in Pineville, after a 5-4 win over Moss Bluff.

McNeese earns No. 12 seed in NCAA Tournament

By: RAYMOND PARTSCH III LSN Sports Writer LAKE CHARLES – Will Wade will face his alma mater in the NCAA Tournament. McNeese Cowboys earned the No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will play No. 5 seed Clemson on Thursday in Providence, Rhode Island. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.
