On Thursday, March 13, area seniors enjoyed the annual French Retreat sponsored by the Catholic Daughters. They enjoyed a special mass in French and English led by Father Tom Voorhies, as well as games, refreshments and fellowship.

Little Giraffes Learn and Grow Development Center, in Ville Platte, is one of four winners of Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana’s Project PlaySmart Classroom Makeovers for 2025. The center will receive a $10 thousand free classroom makeover this spring.

Jackson Soileau, of Sacred Heart, competed in the LHSAA State Indoor Championships at the LSU Carl Maddox Field House, on Saturday, February 22. He finished in 10th place in Boys 1600 Meter Run Division II with a time of 4:46.43.
