Grant is received to fund parent summits

The Evangeline Parish Early Learning Community Network comprised of Evangeline Parish Library, South Louisiana Community College (SOLACC)- Ville Platte Campus, Save the Children Head Start- Evangeline Parish, and Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) Family Engagement has been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Early Learning Nation (ELN) Collective’s Local Action Fund. Using the collective’s footprint, these funds will be utilized to host parent summits across Evangeline Parish, providing a space for parents, community members, and local officials to strategize and develop solutions for challenges faced within their communities.
