Special Olympics returned to the Evangeline Parish School District on Wednesday, October 27, with students competing in bowling. The first round of events was held at Ville Platte High School for students in grades 6 though 8.

(Left photo) At the Evangeline Parish Cross Country meet held October 19-20, the junior high boys from Ville Platte High, Alex Melancon and Kaden Ardoin, were parish champs. Melancon earned a first place finish, and Ardoin earned a third place finish.
