Fr. Voorhies, during the consecration of the Holy Eucharist, elevates the chalice belonging in Fr. LaFleur. The chalice was returned to Sacred Heart in 2016. Pictured on the left is Fr. Neil Pettit, pastor of St. Landry.
Outside at the memorial statue of Fr. LaFleur, Fr. Voorhies leads the public in a special prayer to the Servant of God. That title was given to Fr. LaFleur last year as his cause for canonization moved forward.
