Mary Ann T. Fontenot recently made a generous donation to the Evangeline Parish Tourist Commission that consisted of Tradescantia Ohiensis, commonly known as bluejacket, ohio spiderwort or smooth spiderwort. These plants will be planted at the Native Plant Heritage Garden in Ville Platte as part of Evangeline Parish Tourism’s effort to revamp the unique park.
