Contradansers keep tradition alive at Cotton Festival

They will perform Tuesday evening, October 10, at the Northside Civic Center to help officially kick off Cotton Festival Week. Doors for the event will open at 5 p.m. In addition to the Contradansers, there will be live music by Lenis Soileau and the Friendly Cajuns, as well as the crowning of Heritage Manor’s Cotton Festival King and Queen, Le Roi et La Reine. Cost of admission is $5 for adults and children over the age of five. Children five and under are admitted at no charge.
