Burke Allen Guillory, a beloved member of his community, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Broussard. Burke was born on Thursday, August 25, 1938, in Vidrine, to Cyrus and Elise Beauregard Guillory and lived every minute of his 85 years to its fullest.

VILLE PLATTE - Shane Dupre, 56, of Ville Platte, passed at his residence on Sunday, May 26, 2024. Born on March 8, 1968, Shane was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

MALCOLM LIONEL MILLER

Malcolm Lionel Miller, born in 1929, passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 94. A proud World War II veteran, he served in the United State Army and was assigned in the Pacific Theater. As a veteran, he was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal.
