The City of Ville Platte held its Second Annual 4th of July Celebration on Friday, July 4. The day included live performances by Geno Delafose, Mike Broussard, and Rusty Metoyer. Raylon Blake and DJ Chill were on the sound. There were also kids’ activities, and a spectacular fireworks show closed out the night. It was a day of good, clean family fun, food and entertainment that brought the community together. In the top photo, Geno Delafose and French Rockin’ Boogie perform during the event.
