Evangeline Parish festival are queens recognized

The four Evangeline Parish festival queens were recognized during the monthly meeting of the Evangeline Parish Tourist Commission held Thursday, January 16, at the Pine Prairie Community Center. These young ladies will proudly represent the parish during the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals (LAFF) convention which will be held February 6-9 in Baton Rouge. As a token of appreciation, each queen was presented with a special glass representing her festival. Shown, from left, are Queen Cotton LXX Emma Rose McElwee, Boggy Bayou Festival Queen Kale Cloud, Swine Festival Queen Breanna Fields and Louisiana Tournoi Queen Skyla Fontenot as they share a toast with EPTC President Tony Marks.
