On May 24 th , 2024 Pine Prairie Police received a complaint in reference to
indecent behavior with a juvenile. Upon investigation, suspect Dillon Deshotel
(25 years old of Pine Prairie), acted in an inappropriate manor with a juvenile. It
was also discovered that threats of violence was also made towards another
juvenile. An arrest warrant was issued for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile,
Cyber Stalking and Simple Assault. During further investigation, another charge
of 32 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles was added to the arrest
warrant. Dillon Deshotel was arrested on both warrants on June 5 th , 2024 and
booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail on all charges with a $130,000 bond on
the initial charges and an additional $50,000 bond on secondary warrant. The
investigation is still ongoing and more charges may be added as more evidence
