EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Steven Miller, 27, Ville Platte, was arrested April 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for DWI 1st offense and possession of alcoholic beverages in a vehicle. Miller was released on a $3,500.00 bond. • Daygon Scott Breaux, 30, Mamou, was arrested April 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for criminal trespass, disturbing the peace by intoxication, and two counts of failure to appear for court. Breaux was released on a $4,500.00 bond. • Andrew John Tagliarino, 47, Bunkie, was arrested April 12, 2024, by the Ville Platte City Marshal’s Office for create, distribute, or possess with intent to distribute schedule II methamphetamine; use or possess to use drug paraphernalia; possession of a firearm by a felon; and two counts of possession of a firearm with certain CDS offenses or while committing a crime of violence. Tagliarino remains incarcerated on a $155,000.00 bond. • Jaquaylon K. Arvie, 24, Ville Platte, was arrested April 14, 2024, by State Police for driving while intoxicated with child endangerment and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Arvie was released on a $3,750.00 bond. • John Randy Espree, 54, Long Prairie, Minn., was arrested April 14, 2024, by State Police for DWI 1st offense, careless operation, and possession of alcoholic beverages in a vehicle. Espree was released on a $4,000.00 bond. • Gavin Paul Veillon, 18, Ville Platte, was arrested April 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse - aggravated assault, cruelty to animals, resisting a police officer with force or violence, flight from an officer, and aggravated assault. Veillon remains incarcerated on a $70,000.00 bond. • Sparkle Core Lee Eth Williams, 36, Basile, was arrested April 15, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Williams was released on no bond.
