The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• David Bellard, 40, Ville Platte, was arrested April 4, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation or parole violation. Bellard remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Damian Clark, 33, Ville Platte, was arrested April 4, 2024, by Probation and Parole for probation or parole violation. Clark remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Donald R. Attle, 59, Mamou, was arrested April 4, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for illegal possession of stolen things and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Attle remains incarcerated on a $75,000.00 bond.
• Christopher James Marks, 30, Ville Platte, was arrested April 5, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for four counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. Marks remains incarcerated on a $75,000.00 bond.
• James Phillip Francois, 50, Eunice, was arrested April 5, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for sex offender - failure to notify of address change. Francois remains incarcerated on a $15,000.00 bond.
