    The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Daniel John Manuel, 64, Opelousas, was arrested March 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of failure to appear for court. Manuel remains incarcerated on no bond. • Michelle Renee Fontenot, 39, Glenmora, was arrested March 13, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Fontenot remains incarcerated on no bond. • Joshua B. Bangs, 48, Glenmora, was arrested March 14, 2024, by the Ville Platte City Marshal’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS and use or possess to use drug paraphernalia. Bangs remains incarcerated on a $12,500.00 bond. • Jeffery Rubin, 36, Ville Platte, was arrested March 14, 2024, by the Ville Platte City Marshal’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS. Rubin remains incarcerated on a $10,000.00 bond. • Precious Tatitana Simon, 29, Mamou, was arrested March 15, 2024, by the Mamou Police Department for domestic abuse battery and aggravated battery. Simon remains incarcerated on a $35,000.00 bond. • Joseph Phillip Meagher, 20, Hobart, Ind., was arrested March 16, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for indecent behavior with juveniles and sexual battery. Meagher remains incarcerated on a $50,000.00 bond. • Danielle Nicole Dupre, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested March 17, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court, possession of schedule III CDS, possession of CDS schedule I, and possession of firearm with certain CDS offenses or while committing a crime of violence. Dupre remains incarcerated on a $90,000.00 bond. • Angela Marie Jack, 50, Ville Platte, was arrested March 17, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for sex offender - failure to notify of address change, failure to pay sex offender registration fee, and failure to appear for court. Jack remains incarcerated on a $50,000.00 bond.
