The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Steven James Ardoin, 43, Ville Platte, was arrested March 1, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator; sex offender- failure to notify of address change; and create, distribute, or possess with intent to distribute schedule II methamphetamine. Ardoin remains incarcerated on a $5,000.00 bond.
• Michelle Lynn McDaniel, 55, Mamou, was arrested March 3, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for three counts of possession of schedule II CDS. McDaniel was released on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Jordan Damone Johnson, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested March 3, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery and failure to appear for court. Johnson was released on a $5,500.00 bond.
• Casandra Ann Malveaux, 34, Ville Platte, was arrested March 3, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery. Malveaux was released on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Derek James Holcomb, 42, Ville Platte, was arrested March 5, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court and violation of protective orders. Holcomb remains incarcerated on $2,500.00 bond.
• Lance Corday Cullivan, 37, Mamou, was arrested March 4, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery and false imprisonment (with weapon). Cullivan remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Edward A. Ceglowski, 57, Ville Platte, was arrested March 4, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for false personation of peace officer. Ceglowski remains incarcerated on a $10,000.00 bond.
