EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons: • Brandon Alonzo Freeman, 40, Ville Platte, was arrested January 26, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for violation of protective orders and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Freeman remains incarcerated on a $15,000.00 bond. • Randall Fontenot, 21, Ville Platte, was arrested January 28, 2024, by State Police for DWI 1st offense and improper lane usage. Fontenot was released on no bond. • Anthony Billy Voorhies, 33, Ville Platte, was arrested January 27, 2024, by Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Voorhies remains incarcerated on a $30,000.00 bond.
