Narcotic agents with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office and Allen Parish Swat Team, on January 5, executed a No-Knock Narcotic Search Warrant on the 100 block of West Jefferson Street, in Ville Platte, at the residence of Kaybrien Ardoin.
As a result of the search warrant, Ardoin was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute 492.1 grams of marijuana and eight MDMA pills and possession of a weapon in the presence of illegal narcotics.
Then, on January 18, narcotics agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office conducted a search warrant at a residence located on the 500 block of Bayou Marron Road, in Ville Platte.
As a result, Richard Manuel was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute 28 grams of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in the presence of illegal narcotics.
In a separate incident, on that same day, narcotic agents, while conducting criminal patrol on Lanse Bleu Road, observed a vehicle for traffic violations that resulted in the arrest of Jessica Deville for 6.78 grams of methamphetamines. She was also issued a traffic summons for driving under suspension.
