The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jason Brent Soileau, 43, Ville Platte, was arrested December 29, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS, possession of CDS schedule I, and possession of schedule III CDS. Soileau remains incarcerated on a $77,500.00 bond.
• Alex Richard, 26, Ville Platte, was arrested December 29, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS schedule I. Richard remains incarcerated on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Garrett Fontenot, 30, Ville Platte, was arrested January 1, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS schedule I, possession of schedule II CDS, possession of schedule III CDS, and possession of schedule IV CDS. Fontenot remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Brandon Alonzo Freeman, 40, Ville Platte, was arrested January 1, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for violation of protective orders and stalking. Freeman remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Michael Anthony Parker, 19, was arrested January 1, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft $1,000 > $5,000 and monetary instrument abuse. Parker remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Craydon Andre Long, 19, was arrested January 1, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft $1,000 > $5,000 and monetary instrument abuse. Long remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Daniel Lee Carter, 37, St. Landry, was arrested January 1, 2024, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for resisting an officer, criminal trespass, and probation or parole violation. Carter remains incarcerated on no bond.
