The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Latasha Pleasant, 33, Ville Platte, was arrested November 13, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation violation. Pleasant was released on no bond.
• Derrick Allen Comeaux, 37, Basile, was arrested November 13, 2023, by the Basile Police Department for failure to appear for court, possession of schedule II CDS, use or possess to use drug paraphernalia, and violation of uniform CDS in a drug free zone. Comeaux remains incarcerated on a $15,500.00 bond.
