The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Troas Jukey Charles, 36, Ville Platte, was arrested August 31, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of a firearm by a felon and illegal possession of stole firearms. Charles remains incarcerated on a $150,000.00 bond.
• Casey Lynn Marks, 39, Ville Platte, was arrested September 1, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Marks was released on no bond.
• Dalana Rene Granger, 32, Mamou, was arrested September 1, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of schedule II CDS, failure to appear for court, and possession of schedule IV CDS. Granger was released on a $5,000.00 bond.
• McCannson Montrise Collins, 41, Mamou, was arrested September 2, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for obstruction of justice, flight from an officer, and failure to appear for court. Collins remains incarcerated on a $3,500.00 bond.
