The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Amanda R. Whitman, 36, Ville Platte, was arrested August 23, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation or parole violation. Whitman remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Tauren J. Redman Montero, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested August 23, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for emanation of excessive sound or noise and entry or remaining after being forbidden. Montero was released on a $20,000.00 bond.
• James Keyshon Desho Garlow, 22, Ville Platte, was arrested August 23, 2023, by the Ville Platte Police Department for failure to appear for court. Garlow remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Davonte Valdez Frank, 26, Ville Platte, was arrested August 23, 2023, by Probation and Parole for probation violation. Frank remains incarcerated on no bond.
