The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Alex Joseph Granger, 27, Mamou, was arrested August 15, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft of a motor vehicle. Granger was released on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Chance Standridge, 26, Mandan, N.D., was arrested August 15, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple arson. Standridge remains incarcerated on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Kyle Mitchell Morein, 37, Ville Platte, was arrested August 15, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation or parole violation. Morein remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Christopher Peyton Clark, 47, Ville Platte, was arrested August 16, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for probation violation. Clark remains incarcerated on no bond.
• William Thomas King, 54, Ville Platte, was arrested August 16, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. King remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Hannah Denise Walker, 40, Mamou, was arrested August 16, 2023, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Walker was released on no bond.
