Two victims were air lifted to Lafayette General Medical Center after sustaining gun shot wounds. According to Ville Platte Chief of Police Al Perry Thomas, the incident occurred between midnight and 12:30 a.m. on Monday, May 1, on Owen Street. One of the victims was shot four times, and the other victim was shot once.
The investigation is ongoing.
