Parish football teams gear up for modified jamboree

Things aren’t going to plan with the Evangeline Parish Jamboree, but the show must go on. Originally scheduled to be five teams -- Basile, Mamou, Pine Prairie, Sacred Heart and Ville Platte -- the jamboree will be played with three of the five teams. Basile and Ville Platte withdrew due to quarantine issues, leaving the remaining three teams to play in a modified format this Friday in Mamou. M…
