Ashworth guides Trojans through toughest district in 1-A

Sacred Heart’s Gary Ashworth is honored to be named the All-Parish Coach of the Year.
However, it speaks to his expectations of himself that he feels undeserving of the honor this year.
Ashworth, however, has nothing to be ashamed of in his 2021 season where his Trojans went 17-12 under conditions and a schedule that would make most teams, and coaches, crumble.
