Crime Stoppers is announced in parish

By: TONY MARKS Editor Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles Guillory announced the creation of Crime Stoppers of Evangeline Parish. According to the sheriff, it is “another tool to curtail crime” in the parish.

Landfill hearing is cancelled, reset

By: TONY MARKS Editor The Allen Parish Police Jury announced a public hearing set for tonight in Oberlin has been cancelled due to a publishing error. The hearing was set in regards to a proposed Class I non-hazardous waste disposal well at a landfill outside Oakdale.
