EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons: • Waldo Mark Steward, 59, Ville Platte, was arrested on August 24, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for contractors; payment misapplication.

Louisiana artisan showcased as Selvedge World Fair Participant

Mamou man arrested for vacant house fire in Eunice

Fuel Notice

Both Y-Not-Stops (the one in Ville Platte and the one at the Y) are closing at 7PM. You will NOT be able to get fuel because they will wrap up the pumps to protect them from damage. They will reopen in the morning either, with or without electricity bc they have generators.

Voluntary Evacuation
