A ribbon cutting celebrating the grand opening of Savoy Internal Medicine was held on Thursday, November 20, at its location, 1413 7th Street, in Mamou. It was a gorgeous day for the special occasion. The event was a huge success. Shown in center, cutting the ribbon is Dr. Scott Parks.

On December 4, 2025, Narcotic Agents were conducting a surveillance operation within the Bond Road of Redell. Agents had momentarily parked at the intersection of Lahaye Road and Old Highway 13 in the parking area of the Car Wash.

MAMOU - During a special meeting held on Tuesday, December 2, the Mamou Town Council proposed an ordinance to amend the 2025 fiscal year budget. The council also proposed an ordinance to adopt the 2026 fiscal year budget.
