Red Ford Escape flees from PPPD

Staff Report Pine Prairie Police, on Wednesday, April 27, attempted to make a traffic stop on a red Ford Escape for a speeding violation. The vehicle failed to yield to officers and hit speeds of 90 to 95 mph on Beaver Road, driving recklessly in the attempt to flee.

Assistance is sought in theft of golf cart from Crooked Creek

Staff Report Deputies with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, April 21, were dispatched to Crooked Creek Park in reference to a stolen golf cart. The golf cart was taken from the victim’s camp site during the late night hours by an unknown suspect.
