Dennis Lee Pitre Sr., 70, was born September 9, 1953, in Ville Platte, to Verna M. Pitre Tezeno and Dalton Ned. Mr. Pitre departed this life Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Houston, Texas. His visitation will be Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 12 noon with his funeral following at 1 p.m.

Staff Report Turkey Creek has just installed two new welcome signs for the village. One is located on the northside of Turkey Creek on U.S. Hwy 167 South not far from the corporate limit sign when traveling from the north.
