Fairview Lady Panthers win 15th state title

By: TONY MARKS LSN Sports Editor HAMMOND - When the history of girls’ basketball is written in Louisiana, there will be an appendix listing all of the Fairview Lady Panthers’ 15 state championships. The latest entry in that appendix came on Friday, March 1, as the team defeated Hicks 81-78.

By: TONY MARKS Editor The Louisiana House of Representatives approved a bill, co-authored by Rhonda Butler, that sets out eligibility requirements for the participation of drug court or specialty court programs, including a newly created program in Evangeline Parish.
