By: TONY MARKS Editor Heroes Everywhere Animal Rescue is a victim of a scam that targets animal shelters across multiple states. Matt Baker, owner of the shelter, reported the scam began upon the receipt of an email from someone claiming he would donate $2 thousand to the shelter.

The Ville Platte Police Department has confirmed the arrest of Elrick J. Gallow, 52, of Baton Rouge, in connection with the disappearance of Keabreonna Doucet. Gallow is charged with second degree murder and is being held in the Evangeline Parish jail on no bond.
